Backpacking

My First Leg

Still working this thing out, bear with me

sunny 23 °C

Welcome to each and every person reading this.

As ive promised, there will be no group emails that sound like "today i woke up and it was sunny but then the weather turned a little overcast. I went to breakfast at this blah blah blah" Rather, the object will be to maybe shed a bit of insight in to my world, find out whats happening in your worlds and most of all have a good laugh at other people expense!

Having said all that, I will begin each entry with a vbery brief overview of where ive been (feel free to skip that part, in fact you can go straight to the photos:))

Im in Joey staying with my Granny at the retirement resort in the bible belt of SA (the Hazel). Its worse than moving to St Ives! Ill be here for about a week before going to Cape Town and then to London.

Lets face it, SA has never been the most efficient country but shit this plasce has taken a dive since I was here in Jan. We landed at the airport's newest terminal. PROBLEM: they forgot to tell us that it wasnt actually built yet. Immigration was slower than ever and the luggage took a further 45mins to come out (of the wrong belt) I suppose with the 3 international flights that came in that day, the airport was at full capacity :P. No offence to the SA's out there because I still do love this country, even if no one else does.
